Roleplaying games have seen a massive surge in popularity in recent years, in part thanks to the hit TV show Stranger Things and web series Critical Role. And now it’s time to immerse yourselves in an alternate world with roleplaying games in London!
You and your colleagues will be given characters and placed into a fantastical setting and situation where you will have an epic and terrifying problem to solve.
For a fun-packed two to three hours, you’ll rely upon each other's skills to navigate the obstacles and enemies you face.
Your roleplaying game will be led by a host or Dungeon Master who’ll explain how to play, making this activity suitable for all abilities.
Your dedicated host will narrate the action and then call upon you to make decisions. The story unfolds in fun dialogue and your results are all tracked on specialised character sheets.
They generally use the most frequently use the most popular roleplaying game, Dungeons and Dragons, but also have a range of other game systems they can suggest and run including Mork Borg, Tales from the Loop and Mothership, depending on the vibe you're looking for.
The venue can be provided for you or this fun activity can take place at your home, hired venue or workplace. Either way, feel free to bring drinks and snacks along to sustain you on your adventure.
