TERMS & CONDITIONS

Functions and Non-Residential Events

Events are subject to demand exceeding the minimum numbers required to proceed with a successful event and if not, alternative dates with availability will be offered.

Events are offered in line with any prevailing government Covid-19 guidelines at the time of the event and will be subject to change regarding social distancing/music/dancing and other elements accordingly.

Should the event be cancelled due to a Covid 19 lockdown preventing the hotel from operating the event, a full refund of any monies paid or an alternative date will be offered.

A £10 deposit for each guest is required within 10 days of making your party reservation in order to guarantee your booking. All deposits are paid on a strictly non-transferable and non-refundable basis unless cancelled due to government restrictions or, for any other reason, agreed by and at the sole discretion of the hotel.

The final balance will be due 4 weeks prior to your event. If you make a booking within four weeks of arrival, you will be required to pay the full balance on confirmation of your booking. All-inclusive party package includes house wine, selected single shot house spirits, draught lager, cider, beer and selected soft drinks.

All-inclusive spirits will be served in single measures with mixers only.

Maximum drinks served per person per service will be one.

The all-inclusive bar will open 30 minutes prior to the dinner being served and will close at 11.30pm. All beverages served outside of these times, will be purchased and charged at the bar price.

All accommodation much be fully pre-paid at the time of the booking. All payments are non-refundable. Please ensure everyone in your party is aware no refund will be given if they cancel their place.

You can add to your booking at any time (subject to places being available). Payment terms will be the same as the remainder of the booking.

If you need to reduce numbers at any point no refunds for monies already paid will be given nor will any monies be transferable to cover drinks, accommodation or any other services. If you are the organizer for your party, please ensure your guests are aware.
If we have to cancel a party or change the entertainment, you will be informed and offered an alternative event or a refund.

You will be given a separate contract for bookings for over 40 guests.

As table layouts, table sizes and room plans are impacted by numbers attending each event, these shall strictly at the discretion of the hotel.

Please note smaller parties attending the New Year's Eve Gala will be placed on party seating. Every effort will be made to accommodate specific requests but guarantees are not possible. Bedrooms will be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and checkout is 11am.

If a specific pre-ordered wine is unavailable, you will be offered a suitable alternative. All prices include VAT at the current rate and bookings are subject to availability. All private and joiner functions, including Christmas Day Lunch and both New Year's Eve functions will require menu choices pre-ordered, including dietary requirements, before the deadline date advised by the events team. If not menu choices are provide, the hotel reserves the right to make the choice on the functions behalf.

General

Please be aware that the hotel reserves the right to cancel your booking in the event of refurbishment or necessary renovations and will make reasonable efforts to provide timely notice and alternative accommodations if such circumstances arise.

Dietary Requirements - If you would like any information on allergens contained within any of our menu items, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to assist you. Please ensure all dietary requirements are made clear and noted in advance when providing menu choices.

Function Room Allocation And Seating Arrangements - Unless stated, the party location will be determined by the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to split larger parties into smaller table groups and join smaller parties with other groups. The table plan for the night will be decided by the hotel, dependent on the final numbers of each function. The hotel reserves the right to change the specific room location of any event if necessary, while still providing the menu and entertainment listed.

Liabilities - The hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under this agreement or liable to an attendee or guest for any loss or damage to property if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.

Pricing - The hotel reserves the right to increase the level of VAT subject to legislative increases. All prices include items as described in this brochure, although menu substitutions are possible depending on the availability of ingredients.

Timings - Meal service will begin promptly so please arrive in good time so as not to inconvenience other guests.
