Hailed as one of London’s ‘coolest bars’ in Time Out, The Escapologist Bar is based on the stories of the scandalous Baron Von Took who fled to London in 1898. Although he escaped the gallows, his final wish was to enjoy a drink in Covent Gardens which was, coincidently, the Headquarters of a Victorian secret society. Today, The Escapologist Bar offers a mixture of a ‘modern-day Victorian men’s club’ and ‘Masonic lodge.’ Its quirky atmosphere and welcoming hosts make for the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail masterclass with your mates!
