Description
The Cauldron was co-founded by former teacher and technologist Matthew Cortland and David Duckworth, a molecular cocktail and experience designer. Together they wanted to bring the world of magic to life for fantasy fans the world over, professing: ‘we are but geeks’. Born out of a successful Crowdfunder campaign, The Cauldron’s first two pop-ups in NYC and London welcomed 100,000 aspiring alchemists. Their immersive cocktail-making experience combines the science of the lab with the art of mixology – and, of course, a touch of whimsical witchcraft. Their students of magic are given customised wands, cloaks, cauldrons and potion-making ingredients, before being invited to conjure up some enchanting elixirs. It’s an utterly spellbinding experience where everyone is welcome, so come and get your geek on.
