What's involved

Fun from the get go, cocktail making in Nottingham begins with the expert mixologist showing off their skills whilst you all enjoy a delicious Tom Collins with a twist.

Then get hands-on behind the bar as you mix, muddle, stir and shake your own cocktails, and most importantly, drink them!

Get everyone involved and indulge in a little friendly competition with a range of cocktail making games. After your cocktail experience, you'll head to your private table to relax and enjoy your tasty meal.

Choose a starter and main, or main and dessert from our appetising menu. With a range of delicious savoury options and sweet desserts you'll be spoilt for choice!

You'll be making cocktails, tasting your creations all before sitting down to enjoy a two-course meal. What better way to celebrate a special occasion like a birthday or hen do in Nottingham?

Important information

Age restriction: 18+. Please bring proof of ID. Please be aware, this activity cannot go ahead with less than six group members, even if the additional places are paid for as a supplement. This is due to UK licensing laws. The minimum number of eight still applies, and if there are less than eight people (six or more), a supplement will be required. Please note, inflatable items are not permitted in any Revolution venues. The two-course meal is from a set menu. Choose either a starter and a main or a main and dessert. Menus subject to change. Please let us know of any dietary requirements. Please note that everyone must have the same course combination either Starters and Mains or Mains and Desserts. Please note, you must send your groups full pre-order no later than two weeks prior to your event date. If this is not received then Revolution Bars reserve the right to serve you a buffet with no refund.

Booked a hen party at Revolutions - Cornerhouse Nottingham. Cocktail making was excellent, however the two course meal was disappointing. This was due to the fact, we had a party of 14 people of which easily the tables could have been put together but the staff had split us up into 2 separate tables meaning we all couldn't eat together. To further this I had to pre order food before of which I was told on arrival to the food part the menu had changed and no longer had some of the options that were picked. So we had to change and new orders taken. I, myself couldn't eat a dessert as there was no suitable option due to dietary requirements and didnt want starter again (this was offered) after just having my main! I could have been made aware prior to arrival to resolve this rather that it taking longer for desserts to arrive due to having to taking new orders which defeats the whole point of pre ordering. To further this, staff didnt seem to talk to each other and to be honest were a bit rude and didnt really seem to host properly. I appreciate it was a busy saturday night however this was something that was booked several months in advance and the logistics of seating should have been sorted properly. Along with giving me notice of the menu change, as I had to give our notice of food options in advance. Overall I wouldn't book this again based on the overall experience. Only the cocktail making potentially.

The cocktail making was amazing Sax the barman was fantastic . The meal how ever wasn’t great and I had to complain . Missing food ,some was really salty and the orders came out at long intervals and people had eaten and others was still waiting for the food.

It was so much fun, lots of alcohol and everyone was involved in the games. Perfect activity to start a 40th celebration!

Was a bit slow getting started. But when we did it was great fun the 2 girls that were teaching us were great fun had by all! And the meal was good after great value for money

Cocktail making was good the women that did it with us was brilliant. I think it should be done in a different room as the person that was taking us through things we couldn't hear. Also we never got a certificate of participation. Also the meal was very poor. Most of us had a chicken burger but it was that spicy most of us couldn't eat it. The starters were very poor aswel.

Food fab, and cocktail making was a fab event and a enjoyable eve. We had to miss out a lot due to late arrival after our delay on the burlesque evening.

Never got the right name for our cocktail master but he was very very good. He made nobody feel left out or silly and was actually informative regarding the cocktail. Would recommend him also for any party. Food was delicious
