What's involved

Panto at Christmas. You know the drill - boos, groans, a man in a frock.

Except this one has a body in it.

Blackwatch's 'panto-crime' hands your group front row seats to 'Cinderella & Dick Whittington Climb the Beanstalk to Neverland', a show pulled together by Ivan Ego, the greatest director who never was.

It's going about as well as you'd imagine. Then the super celeb playing Cinderella misses her cue, and she's found dead.

Surely not one of her own cast? Oh yes it could be.

So who did it? Dick Whittington? Sheila Blige, the stepmother? The Genie in the Lamp? That's your job now.

You're not sat watching this one. You'll be grilling the suspects, having a wish granted by the genie, giving Dick Whittington some badly needed relationship advice and getting roped into Sheila Blige's dating game.

Expect terrible puns, loud accusations and a photo album full of nonsense!

There are two ways to do it. Go for the full panto with dinner served in between the action, or the shorter version, 'a bit of Xmas murder', if you'd rather keep things moving.

It's a belter for a work Christmas do or a team building day in December, and it beats another sit-down dinner where everyone talks to the same three people.

I booked a 1920s-themed murder mystery for my sister’s hen do and Blackwatch Entertainment did not disappoint! Contact with creative director, Tamara, was excellent throughout. We had a fantastic afternoon during our Murder Mystery! The actors who came to the house played a brilliant role keeping the whole thing ticking along. The script and the character suggestions were personalised and hilarious. Everyone at our hen do loved it!! Would definitely recommend.

Overall the group really enjoyed the murder mystery. We did have quite a lot of difficulty with the scripts which were sent out beforehand as they did not follow in order and a lot of it was different to that of the actors so it became very disjointed. We were having to borrow the actors scripts and pass them around which meant we lost the flow and found it hard to follow. This was quite disappointing. The actors were great and made it so much fun anyway - they really saved it! Would book again if we could guarantee the scripts were right to make sure it flowed better.

Booked this for my daughters lockdown 18th. Really well organized, lots of fun and many lol moments. Actors gently help you through with the lines and things so no need to worry about getting it wrong (I did! And it didn’t matter ) Would definitely recommend
