What's involved
If you’re looking for a unique way to explore the vibrant city of Glasgow whilst hunting for clues and solving puzzles, then Treasure Hunt Glasgow has just the experience for you!
Meet Captain Bess, a pirate on the lookout for new recruits and she thinks you might have what it takes! You’ll be armed with maps, clues, and directions to guide you through the city. If you get stuck, don’t worry. Bess will be there with helpful hints when needed.
Starting outside Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art, the treasure hunt is designed to give you a thorough tour of this dynamic city, known for its stunning Victorian architecture, thriving arts scene, and rich history.
Explore the Merchant City district, famous for its grand buildings and cultural hotspots, wander along the River Clyde, Glasgow’s historic waterfront, once teeming with shipbuilders, and perhaps stop by The Clutha, an iconic pub known for its live music and vibrant atmosphere.
Your hunt will finish with a score from Bess, but remember, it’s not a competition.
Take your time, enjoy the journey with your friends and, most of all, have fun!

Amazing way of exploring a city, it was so fun to work out all the clues whilst exploring and also getting history information at the same time. The tour took us in places that we will for sure have missed otherwise. Recommended!

Good fun! Got an answer wrong due to wording which upset some competitive members of our group but still had a great time!

Really good fun and, even having lived in Oxford 10 years, I saw things and places I'd never seen.
The clues were stretching (even for residents!) But not to the point of despair - the right balance.
One suggestion would be to have an app with notifications. Also allow joint submissions / credit.
However a great way to spend my 40th. Fantastic in fact! 😁
