What's involved

Bows, foam-tipped arrows and your mates as targets. Yes, really!

Archery Tag in Barcelona sounds mad written down, and then it turns out to be the bit of the trip everyone goes on about.

Think dodgeball crossed with paintball, only you're firing arrows. Every tip is foam, so nobody heads back to the villa bruised or covered in paint.

You'll split into two teams and spend an hour going at it, ducking behind the barricades and using the obstacles for cover while you pick off the other side.

A neutral zone sits between the two teams. You can only step in there to grab more arrows, which turns every restock into a bit of a gamble.

There's a run of games to get through, too. Bulldog, Elimination, Last Man Standing and Capture the Flag are all in the mix.

An event coordinator stays with you throughout, explaining each game, keeping score and making sure it all runs properly.

Everything you need is included, from the bows and arrows to the face masks and the barricades themselves.

It's a cracking shout if you're out in Barcelona for a stag weekend or a hen party, or for a birthday that deserves a better story than another long lunch.

Your venue sits in central Barcelona and could be indoors or outdoors, so you're sorted either way.

Can pregnant ladies participate?

Unfortunately no one can play our activities if they are pregnant

Will the event still go ahead if it rains?

If it rains we still play, however if the venue has a sports hall we do try our best to move equipment indoors
