What's involved
Are you tired of the same old team building experiences? Well, get ready to breathe in the fresh air and explore your city with fresh eyes and see if your team has got what it takes to solve the puzzles in this treasure hunt for teams!
Get together with your co-workers and split yourself into teams - it’s time for a bit of healthy competition!
Your treasure hunt will be based on a Whatsapp-style chat: you’ll be fed clues and riddles by Captain Bess, and it’s up to you to find each location on the treasure map, answer her questions and prove you’ve got what it takes to join her crew!
By the end of your experience, you’ll get a chance to look at the leaderboard. So, whilst you can absolutely take your time with this one and soak up the sights, make sure you’re paying attention when it comes to searching for clues!
This treasure hunt is a great activity to book to get your heads together, work well as a team and get out and about around your local city. So, send through an enquiry today and book your team an experience like no other!
Important information
The game works a bit like a WhatsApp group, but on a web page instead. You don’t need to download anything and it doesn’t need any permissions.
Before you’re due to start, we’ll send you a link to the game. Open the link to join the game and share it with your team so they can join too.
Once you’re ready, Captain Bess will tell you what to do next.
Aim to finish before sunset—it's near impossible to find clues in the dark!
You can play in 2 parts—if it suits your plans, you can pause the game and come back after lunch or even the next day.
Please bring a smartphone with data and full battery, shoes appropriate for 2 miles for walking and waterproofs in case of bad weather.
This activity is wheelchair accessible.

Really fun and a great way to see some amazing buildings

Amazing way of exploring a city, it was so fun to work out all the clues whilst exploring and also getting history information at the same time. The tour took us in places that we will for sure have missed otherwise. Recommended!
Cristina
It was great fun. Totally recommend to get to know the city.

Good fun! Got an answer wrong due to wording which upset some competitive members of our group but still had a great time!

Really good fun and, even having lived in Oxford 10 years, I saw things and places I'd never seen.
The clues were stretching (even for residents!) But not to the point of despair - the right balance.
One suggestion would be to have an app with notifications. Also allow joint submissions / credit.
However a great way to spend my 40th. Fantastic in fact! 😁
