Ever fancied strutting about like a proper showgirl?
Here's your excuse. This burlesque dance class in Cardiff hands your group a professional teacher, a private space and a routine built to tease.
Things start gently with a warm up, which does a grand job of breaking the ice and loosening up anyone who swore in the taxi that they don't dance.
From there your teacher walks you through the steps, bit by bit, until you've got a full choreographed routine down. Shimmies, struts, the lot.
Feather boas and props are on hand, and they help enormously. It's much easier to drop the inhibitions when you're hiding behind a metre of feathers!
The bride-to-be or birthday girl gets a bottle of wine, because sassy work deserves a drink.
You'll perform the finished routine together as a group, which is where the giggling usually peaks.
No dance background needed. Nobody here is auditioning - it's about learning something daft and lovely with your favourite people, whether it's a hen do, a birthday or just a long-overdue excuse to get the girls in one room.
You'll walk out bonded, confident and slightly out of breath.

- Props such as feather boas are provided.
- A bottle of wine for the bride-to-be or the special person of the day.
- Dress code: Clothes you can move in. Fancy dress to match the theme is welcome. Footwear must be worn.
- Pregnant women can't take part.
- Please don't bring your own food and drink.
- If the listed venue is unavailable, the experience provider will arrange the best alternative and let you know promptly.

Laura was absolutely fantastic! This has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever done. Everyone had a lovely time and at the end laura made a little music video for us, she definitely made the experience. None of the hen party are experienced dancers and I certainly can't move my hips how I needed too but it was great. Contact laughs with absolutely no embarrassment. Would definitely recommend and do again!

13 of us on a hen do and we all absolutely loved this class and have all been talking about it since, perfect team builder and got everyone hyped! Such an amazing instructor she was so much fun and made sure the class suited everyone which was so thoughtful! We all absolutely loved this class and would do it again a million percent! Our dance teacher absolutely made the class, we all fell in love with her straight away and got proper stuck in! Felt so comfortable and excited the whole time, couldn’t recommend this any more we had an amazing time and even brought some of the moves to the club that night! Thank you so much 😁

The instructor Elizabeth was very kind and understanding that we were a little drunk and wanted to have a good time. The routine was basic and easy, she didn’t force us to participate too much and gave a relaxed hen vibe. It’s not a class for serious burlesque enthusiasts but totally low key for an easy and affordable day. Location was BRILLIANT and I recommend enjoying the area there for a bit pre class to get you in the mood
