Do we need to prepare or bring anything?
No preparation is needed and we provide everything required for the challenges. Just turn up ready to get involved, have a laugh and show your competitive side!
Where will the event take place?
We use carefully selected city-centre bars, with your event taking place in a private room exclusively for your group. Your exact venue is confirmed closer to the event once your final balance has been paid.
Why isn't the exact venue confirmed when we book?
We work with several city-centre venues so we can match your group with the most suitable private space. Waiting until your final numbers are confirmed gives us flexibility if your group size changes or a venue unexpectedly becomes unavailable.
Can we arrange our own venue?
Absolutely. If you've already booked a suitable private room or would prefer to arrange your own venue, we can usually bring Challenge Master to you. Please contact us before booking so we can make sure the space is suitable for the activity.
Will we have the room to ourselves?
Yes. When we arrange your venue, the room used for Challenge Master is private and reserved for your group. It will usually be within a city-centre pub or bar, so you'll still have easy access to the bar before, during and after your activity.
What happens during Challenge Master?
Your group will be divided into teams and your Challenge Master will guide you through a series of fun and unusual tasks. You'll compete against the other teams, earning points along the way, with an overall winner crowned at the end. The challenges are varied, so different members of your group will get the chance to show off different skills. Creativity and thinking outside the box can often be more important than getting the obvious answer!
Do you need to be fit to take part?
No. Challenge Master isn't a fitness activity and you don't need to be particularly sporty. The challenges involve a mixture of creativity, problem solving, communication, coordination and teamwork, making it suitable for a wide range of abilities.
Will this experience include a host?
Yes! This activity includes a fun and friendly host, who will set you tasks and challenges and guide you through the experience.
How long does Challenge Master last?
We allow 90 minutes for the Challenge Master experience. The exact running time can vary slightly depending on your group size and how quickly you tackle the challenges. Smaller groups may finish a little earlier, while larger groups may occasionally run slightly over the 90 minutes.
What group sizes can take part?
Challenge Master has a minimum group size of 10 people. Smaller groups are welcome to take part, but the minimum charge for 10 people will still apply. We can adapt the format for different group sizes to make sure everyone gets involved. For larger groups of over 30 people, please contact us for more details and we'll advise you on the best format for your group.
What should we wear?
There's no special dress code for Challenge Master, so wear something you're comfortable in. Fancy dress is welcome at most of our venues, as long as it isn't offensive. As you'll be taking part in different challenges, we'd recommend wearing something you're happy to move around in.
Can under-18s take part?
No. Challenge Master is an 18+ activity and we're unable to accept anyone under the age of 18. Most of our events also take place in city-centre pubs and bars, where age restrictions apply.
