What happens during Game Show Bonanza?
Your group will be divided into teams before competing across a variety of game show-inspired rounds. Each round brings something different, so expect questions, music, guessing, challenges, quick thinking and a healthy dose of luck! You'll collect points throughout the experience before the overall Game Show Bonanza Champions are revealed.
Will this experience include a host?
Absolutely! Your very own lively game show host will be running the show from start to finish. They'll explain the rounds, keep score, keep everyone involved and bring plenty of energy and banter along the way. Expect questionable decisions, dramatic score announcements and absolutely no promises that trying to bribe the host will improve your position on the leaderboard!
Do we need to be good at quizzes?
Definitely not! Game Show Bonanza is about much more than general knowledge. The different rounds test all sorts of skills, so music knowledge, quick thinking, teamwork, observation and even pure luck could be what wins it for your team. It's designed so everyone can contribute – including that friend who claims they "don't do quizzes"!
Do we need to prepare or bring anything?
No preparation is needed and we provide everything required for the games. Just bring yourselves, your competitive spirit and perhaps a few teammates who know their TV, music and random trivia!
How long does Game Show Bonanza last?
We allow 90 minutes for the Game Show Bonanza experience. The exact running time can vary slightly depending on your group size and how the games unfold. Smaller groups may finish a little earlier, while larger groups may occasionally run slightly over the 90 minutes.
What group sizes can take part?
Game Show Bonanza has a minimum group size of 10 people. Smaller groups are very welcome to take part, but the minimum charge for 10 people will still apply. Teams are usually made up of around 3–5 people, although we can adapt the format depending on your final group size to make sure everyone gets involved. For larger groups of over 30 people, please contact us for more details and we'll advise you on the best format for your group.
Where will the event take place?
We use carefully selected city-centre bars, with your event taking place in a private room exclusively for your group. Your exact venue is confirmed closer to the event once your final balance has been paid.
Why isn't the exact venue confirmed when we book?
We work with several city-centre venues so we can match your group with the most suitable private space. Waiting until your final numbers are confirmed gives us flexibility if your group size changes or a venue unexpectedly becomes unavailable.
Can we arrange our own venue?
Absolutely. If you've already booked a suitable private room or would prefer to arrange your own venue, we can usually bring Game Show Bonanza to you. Please contact us before booking so we can make sure the space is suitable for the activity.
Will we have the room to ourselves?
Yes. When we arrange your venue, the room used for Game Show Bonanza is private and reserved for your group. It will usually be within a city-centre pub or bar, so you'll still have easy access to the bar before, during and after your activity.
Can under-18s take part?
No. Game Show Bonanza is an 18+ activity and we're unable to accept anyone under the age of 18. Most of our events also take place in city-centre pubs and bars, where age restrictions apply.
