What happens during Conspirators?
Your host will secretly select the Conspirators before guiding the group through a series of challenges, discussions and votes. You’ll need to work together, watch everyone carefully and decide who you can trust. Meanwhile, the Conspirators will be doing everything they can to avoid detection!
Is Conspirators based on The Traitors?
Conspirators is our own interactive game inspired by the world of social deduction, deception and hidden identities. If you love the tension, suspicion and strategy of shows like The Traitors, you’ll feel right at home.
Can we drink during the activity?
As the activity usually takes place in a city-centre bar, drinks can normally be purchased from the venue. You can enjoy a drink while playing, although we recommend keeping a reasonably clear head — you’ll need it to spot the Conspirators!
Where will the event take place?
We use carefully selected city-centre bars, with your event taking place in a private room exclusively for your group. Your exact venue is confirmed closer to the event once your final balance has been paid.
Why isn't the exact venue confirmed when we book?
We work with several city-centre venues so we can match your group with the most suitable private space. Waiting until your final numbers are confirmed gives us flexibility if your group size changes or a venue unexpectedly becomes unavailable.
Will we have the room to ourselves?
Yes. When we arrange the venue, the activity takes place in a private room reserved for your group. The room may be within a busy city-centre bar, but the event space itself is private.
Can we arrange our own venue?
Absolutely. If you have already booked a suitable private room, venue or other space, we can usually bring Conspirators to you. Let us know before booking so we can check that the space is suitable.
Is a host included?
Yes. One of our Conspirators hosts will run the entire experience, explain the rules, lead the challenges and discussions, and keep the game moving right through to the final reveal.
How long does Conspirators last?
We allow 90 minutes for the Conspirators experience. The exact running time can vary slightly depending on your group size and how the game unfolds. Smaller groups may finish a little earlier, while larger groups may occasionally run slightly over the 90 minutes.
What group sizes can play?
Conspirators has a minimum group size of 10 people. Smaller groups are very welcome to play, but the minimum charge for 10 people will still apply. We have several different formats of the game, allowing us to adapt the experience to suit different group sizes and make sure everyone gets involved. For larger groups of over 30 people, please contact us for more details and we’ll recommend the best format for your group.
What should we wear?
There’s no special dress code for Conspirators, so wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Fancy dress is welcome at most of our venues, as long as it isn’t offensive. And if you fancy getting into character with a Conspirators-themed outfit, we absolutely encourage it — cloaks, mystery and suspicious-looking characters are all part of the fun!
Can under-18s take part?
No. Conspirators is an 18+ activity and we’re unable to accept anyone under the age of 18. Most of our events also take place in city-centre pubs and bars, where age restrictions apply.
